Red, Bumpy, and Ugly

Two weeks ago this how Gabe’s skin looks like.. red and bumpy. It’s really dry. But if we bring him outside on the cold weather the redness subside. I don’t think that this bother him.. cause he’s not cranky baby or itch his face. He only scratch his face when he’s sleepy or hungry. I just hope that his skin will get clear soon.

I need to get a micro sd for my cellphone. I need to store more photos and documents on my cellphone. Hope I can get a cheaper one.

Taking A Bath

Gabe at three months :) He loves taking a bath everyday! Look how he knows to hide his birdie on the camera. lol He got a lot of rashes on his face and all over his body. Some said because of the cold weather, some thought it might be his milk, other said that it could be from the detergent on his clothes or the scent, and more reasons they said that cause his skin to react that way. I don’t really worry now because Lianne have the same thing when she was a baby.. and it cleared up without us doing anything.

He will be turning four months soon and it means that I can go back exercising and maybe start taking weight loss supplements so I can go back on my pre-pregnancy weight.

Jelly Bean Factory Tour

These are some of the photos during our visit to Jelly Bean Factory in Fairfield California. I enjoyed that day with my husband and my daughter. After the approximately 40 minutes tour they gave out small bag of jellybeans at the end. ;) That one truly light my daughters face. We also bought 5 bags of jellybeans for my siblings in Manila. I was tired when I get home that day, and I forgot that I need to research about Mesothelioma lawyer that my friend in other state is requesting from me. Good thing I was able to give her details the next day. :)

Tea Party

->Hearty one if I have time and if there is food available.

Acne, Acne, Go Away!

I was loyal to Proactiv for almost 5 years. Using their products that long doesn’t really cleared up my acne because once in a while I still get one or two zits.. But since it’s better to have something that control my breakout than nothing I remained using it. Having one or two zits is way better than having a lot.

I stopped using Proactiv when I got pregnant with my second child. And during that time my hormones are really on peak to produce more sebum that cause my acne breakout all over my face. I went back using the Proactiv when I’m 6 months pregnant but to no avail.. it didn’t help anymore. It actually became worst. I tried Murad products and it was a miracle that helps control my breakout on my forehead and face.

I thought I finally found my new bestfriend with Murad products. But after using Murad products for almost 3 months, I’m starting to have breakout on my chin again.. (where it’s common place for my breakout).

So with the search of various acne products I end up with Clinique. I previously love their products but I stopped years back when their 3 step cleaning system didn’t work for me. That’s the time when my I started to have breakout on my lower chin.

The Clinique Acne line is really new to me. And so far the results are good. Hope the result will last forever so I won’t end up for another search.

My kids photo taken today :D Our Saturday is a blast even without my mom. I still feel pain in my tummy but a pain that is tolerable now and doesn’t need me to take pain medication.

I Wish-Digital Frame

I have tons of photos on my computer and I’m considering getting one of those digital frames. You can still display your photo but this time it will not flood your desk with tons of picture frames. I was thinking the size of the frame to be at least 10 inches and can store photos, play music, and videos as well. I think I saw one from TV and it cost like $200+. I want to find cheaper than that.. maybe like less than $100..That would be awesome if I can find one with that price huh?

I have too many things I need to check out online including the photo holiday cards that my sister is requesting me to order for her. So be back..

Combating Boredom

So have you asked that in your self on how you can combat boredom? Do you know that “boredom” is one of the major diseases of our era? This was commented by The Vancouver Sun as well. The magazine said that “almost three out of four North Americans say they crave more novelty in their lives.”

Here are the suggestions on how you can combat boredom:

Make changes to break out of your rut
Learn something new
Do meaningful volunteer work
Engage in motor activities, like taking a walk
Practice gratitude

I would say that taking a walk when you’re bored is the best :D And I think shopping or just window shopping will help as well.. hehehh Like now, I'm so crazy to get and feel the heated mattress pads in our bed :)

Weight Update

I was 176lbs when I got pregnant and I reached the peak of 222lbs till the day of my scheduled c-section. I became so picky in what I eat now because I’m thinking that I need to express my milk to my son and I need to give him nutritious food. I haven’t eaten any ice cream and pastries since I got back from normal diet. This is the big difference when I got pregnant with my first one.. I went back pigging with milk shakes and chocolates right away. I’m so happy weighing myself yesterday that I’m down to 194lbs. :D

So just 18 more pounds till I can go back to my pre-pregnancy weight and from there I will start dieting again. I think weight loss pills will not be my option for this post pregnancy weight.

I haven’t announce the official addition in our family here =) We have a new baby boy added in our family last Thursday. Now, my next assignment, aside from recovery, is to make sure to add the baby to my health insurance. We actually went to his first doctor’s appointment today. And his pediatrician said that he is a healthy baby.

Few more hours and I will deliver thru c-section the baby that we’ve waited for months :) I currently have mixed emotions now. I cannot explain but the excitement empowers it.

I can’t wait to go back in my regular activities.. and hopefully it will be easy recovery for me. I’m craving of my mom’s sweet potato casserole but cannot have it tomorrow, since I have to fast for 12 hours for the surgery. Anyway, I know that there will be more food my mom gonna make :)

I may not be the only person who is experiencing annoying flashes of light. I’m referring to the spots or sometimes dark shapes in our line of vision. I often experience this when I am reading. -> I tried to, but it’s really hard to do things that I need to because I get tired quickly.

What does your weekly chore schedule consist of, if anything?
->Putting all folded clothes to cabinet, cleaning our bathroom, organizing Lianne toys.. and more.

Do you plan when you’ll do things, do them as you go, don’t do any chores or leave everything until the house needs to be condemned?
->Sometimes I plan, sometimes I just go with the flow, whatever I feel like doing that time.

What is your favorite chore? Least favorite?
->Washing clothes and vacuuming are my favorite :) I hate ironing and washing dishes.

What item makes doing chores less stress/hassle or more fun/enjoyable for you?
->No kids around and filling the house with loud music. :) I’m sure I will not need Leptitrex to loose weight if I will devote time in doing house chores ;)

I feel bad for all the people who is experiencing job loss :( Loosing jobs is really beyond our control. Sometimes even company doesn’t want their people to go, they have to in order to make the business survive. I was chatting with a friend yesterday and she said that she is looking for jobs in Boston. She lost her house in California and the only way is to go back to her parents in Boston to have another start. It’s really a hard life not to have job.

I met with some of my close friends at work for a baby shower party and also a bye-bye or despidida party to one of my friend that will transfer to different agency. It was fun to hear the steaming stories at work. We have not converted Lianne crib bed to welcome the new baby in few weeks (or days). We still have a lot of things that we need to shop before we can said that we are ready for the arrival of the baby. One of those things in our list is a new baby bedding to welcome a baby boy. =) Lianne has flowery and pinky bedding are still on her crib. This is the one I like that will match Lianne old aquarium toy that baby boy can use.

After weeks of being away from my online life.. I'm finally back now :) I truly missed my cyber life! Even, I was away from blogging, I still tried once in a while to peek and see what's going on in my friends online. And I'm so thankful for Google Reader for making this things possible :)

I have too many stuff that I need to work on.. and I'm glad I was able to do cross out 25% of the things I need to do.

One of the assignment hubby gave me is to check online car insurance that can replace our current policy. Hopefully, I can get this done before touching other stuff on my list.

I want a new laptop computer and so desperate to get one :( But my timing buying one is not the right time. We have huge expenses coming and I know that I will be busy taking care of other things than playing and tweaking on new laptop. lol So I really have to postponed buying one for now. Unending Acne

I thought that I found the best acne treatment when I’m using an acne product for more than five years. It was able to help to control my breakouts but I still have zits of one or two when my period is coming. And for me dealing with my zits once every month is fine than dealing with it everyday. But I have to stop using that acne products when I got pregnant and you will not believe how horrible my acne, especially on my chin breakouts. All the people I know was surprised with what happened.. lol My OB told me that using benzoyl peroxide topically is safe, as long I’m not taken it orally. I went back using it after 24 weeks of my pregnancy, but it didn’t help. So I totally stopped using it and I gave all the remaining bottles to my sister. Now, I’m back to my quest again for best acne treatment. Do you know any?

We all want to loose weight quickly.. Of course I’m talking to people who has the same fat problems in their body. Everywhere we go diet pills are just around the corner. Yes, and I do get along with them! I have a sister and a brother that is older than me and two younger sister. In short, I’m the middle among five. We don’t have a huge age gap so we really get a long like we’re friends with the same age. When we’re young we used to fight with things like new clothes, food from my mom’s bag and using someone shoes without permission. :D Kinda a dog and cat relationship back then. But when we start going to college and became a bit mature, we’re inseparable. *lol* But things again doesn’t stay the same..we got married and have kids but we’re still close and love each other.

Lianne Has A Package!

I bought Liane a Princess school bag with lunch box and a separate Hello Kitty lunch box and bottle. I got it cheap for $22 including the shipping from Ebay. The reason why I did it is to have her received a package with her name. lol

One time, she came up to me after we got our mail saying “mommy, how come I don’t get a package?”, she often see all the coming mails and boxes are for me. (Books and auto shipment for my acne treatment) And that’s the reason why I shopped online for her.

Shopping At The Mall

We went to the mall today and I’m trying to look for some maternity clothes but it’s too hard as Lianne doesn’t want to stay with me when I’m browsing on maternity section. I just followed wherever she wants to go, book store, toy store, pabango (scent) store, kids clothes, in the fountain and playground. I’m glad that when we went to Bath and Body Works (scent store), I was able to grab some deals that is so hard to pass, I got a lot of body wash for myself, lotion and spray for my family back in Manila with 75% off from regular price. Good deal huh? But I’m not still down hunting a maternity dress that I need on our assembly in the coming next week.

I kept on going back to Dell website checking the laptop I want. Heheh I know hubby doesn’t like that idea as my laptop is still in good condition. However, I want a bigger memory, smaller and lighter, and maybe an upgrade to my current video card. Plus he said before that computer has only three years of estimated useful life.. So I’m hitting that three years life this August . lol

Memory Run Out!

My laptop has only 80GB memory on it. So I cannot install unnecessary programs or files that I don’t normally use. The other day I downloaded some kids games on it and eats all my 20GB memory remaining. :( So now instead of doing some stuff on it I have to move files on the portable HD to free some space. The effect of not reading instructions and memory specs from the CD.

It’s 5am and I can’t go back to sleep now. I went to bed around 9:20pm last night and that could explain why I cannot go back to sleep. I’m starting to cut back unhealthy calories on my diet. I want to loose weight quickly after my labor day on October. A friend overseas told me to check generic Phentermine as this can help to loose weight. I’m not sure though if I can take diet pills.

Like home improvement supplies is much cheaper online. Hubby recently told me about the collection of kitchen faucets that the price is totally awesome! The money that I’m earning is currently enough to pay bills, buy things that we need, and to help my family back in Manila. Maybe when I get paid more and all my family members don’t need help anymore, I can indulge my self to extravagant things too. But for now I have to fasten my belt tightly in spending.

I had problem with my pimples ten years ago. I often get one or two zits and I didn’t consider it acne. I thought that growing up this will eliminate my problem.. but it goes the opposite way. I have mild acne on my lower chin and it became worst when I became pregnant now on my second child. My search for acne treatments still didn’t stop. I often find product that will help for a short period of time but then the zits will come back again. I just hope my search will soon end. Do you know best acne treatment?

Currently, we have a treadmill inside our family room but I don’t find it motivating to work out if the people around me are slacking on the couch.
